Van Driver Cat B

The Best Connection are currently seeking a Cat B Van Driver on behalf of our busy client based in Upper Beeding, West Sussex. The successful candidate will possess a current and valid Cat B Licence with 2 years worth of driving experience desired but not essential. This role has possibilities to up end up as a perm position for the right candidate. Please note - this role will involve large amounts of manual labour and working as part of a team.

Responsibilities of the Van Driver​

• Collecting household items from residencies and delivering them to a new destination
• Be able to work under pressure to tight time frames, making sure they get the job done at the end of each shift
• Participate in occasional weekend work
• Have excellent customer service skills
• Be pro-active during quiet times, maintaining vehicles and equipment without supervision
• Be willing to cover both UK runs and European runs once trained
• Be physically able for heavy lifting

This role starts at £9.30 per hour, with overtime available after 8 hours monday to Friday. 

The hours for this role will vary due to different runs assigned Normally a 0630 start til job finish.
