Job Details
Full time 37 hours per week, full year 52 weeks per year.
An exciting opportunity has arise to join Greater Brighton Metropolitan College as Apprenticeship Operations Manager.
Responsibilities will include coordination of all activities relating to the tracking and delivery of Apprenticeship achievement, supporting the maximization of timely Apprenticeship achievement. You will support the development of robust Apprenticeship Quality Assurance processes and support on-going development of the College on-boarding and e-portfolio system (APTEM). You will engage with the College Quality Improvement Manager in order to ensure consistency of practice and a coordinated, cross college approach to Apprenticeship Quality Improvement.
You will be expected to design and implement a monthly tracking cycle and associated processes / activities. You will work alongside the English and Maths delivery team to ensure that Functional Skills achievement is prioritized and aligned with all other Apprenticeship Standard components. You will need to prepare monthly analysis reports and provide updates to the Apprenticeship Board, feeding into SLT and the Teaching and Learning committee where necessary.
Essential requirements:
- Significant experience of Apprenticeship delivery.
- Experience of maintaining and implementing effective quality control and student tracking systems.
- Experience and understanding of ESFA Apprenticeship funding rules within the context of audit compliance.
- Knowledge and experience of Internal Verification procedures and processes.
- Experience of preparing for and being part of an Ofsted Inspection.
- Experience of working with and developing complex IT systems.
- Relevant professional/occupational qualification equivalent to level 4 or above.
- Recognized assessor qualification.
Interviews will be held on Monday 1st and Tuesday 2nd November at our West Durrington, Worthing campus.
