Customer Service Apprentice
Californian Classics Ltd
Californian Classics Ltd, based in St Leonards-on-Sea are recruiting for a Customer Service Apprentice. The successful apprentice will have a varied role dealing with customers, administration, learning about a unique business, whilst also completing a Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner Apprenticeship.
Apprenticeship summary
Weekly wage - £161.25
Working week - Monday to Friday. Shifts TBC.
Total hours per week: 37.50
Expected duration - 18 months
Possible start date - 06 Sep 2021
Apprenticeship level - Intermediate Level 2 (GCSE)
The position would require the apprentice to gain knowledge of all aspects of a customer focused role.
The main objectives of the role would be:
- Answering customer enquiries by phone and email
- Updating and administration of e-commerce website including photography of parts
- Assisting with stock controls, picking products and packing
- Stock despatch and shipping
- Raising estimates and invoices when required
- Completing training and apprenticeship work
- Any additional tasks required as part of the apprenticeship
Requirements and prospects
Desired skills
- Ability to communicate well with customers and colleagues
- Have some knowledge of cars would be desirable but not essential
- The ability to work methodically and with attention to detail
- Ability to drive would be useful but not essential.
Personal qualities
- Someone who works well in a team
- Enthusiasm
- A willingness to learn
Desired qualifications
Good GCSE results (A-C or equivalent) are desirable.
Future prospects
As the company is expanding, there will be opportunities to grow within the company.
Things to consider
This apprenticeship will be completley based in the workplace except if you need to come into college to take your final Functional Skills exams.
This is a Customer Service Apprenticeship so please keep this in mind when applying.
