Mayfield School are looking for enthusiastic and flexible individuals to join our friendly, hardworking and creative Catering Team. Our Catering team are an integral part of the School community ensuing that our students and staff have a first class dining experience at every meal.
You don’t need previous experience to join our team although it helps– what’s important to us is what you bring as a person. If you have excellent communication skills, enjoy working in a team, have a real passion for food and are as committed to providing a high level of service as we are, this could be the job for you. Full training will be provided for all new members of the team.
Currently we’re looking for a Kitchen Porter working full-time (37.5 hours per week) during term time (34 weeks of the year). Hours are predominantly Monday to Friday (08:30 to 17:00 with 30 minutes unpaid break) but there will be a requirement to work some weekends during term time.
Hours Monday to Friday between 08:00 and 17:00 are paid at £9.50 per hour whilst all other hours are paid at £9.85 per hour. Practical, modern work wear is also provided.
Our Support Staff know that their contribution to the School is vital to its overall success and in ensuring that our students achieve their greatest educational goals.
