Part-Time - 0.8 FTE (29.6 hours per week)

Based at the Broadwater and Shoreham Campuses

GB Met College is offering an opportunity to deliver a high quality teaching experience for students aged 16 to 19 at our Brighton and Worthing Campuses. 

We are looking for an Lecturer - English with passion, enthusiasm and flair to join our forward thinking and dynamic team.

For many learners, the opportunity to secure their grade through Further Education presents a valuable second chance and therefore we are looking for Lecturers with the ability to motivate learners to achieve their goals.

Investment in staff is key to our success and GB Met offers a wide range of internal and external training opportunities to help you develop your skills within an FE setting.

You will require an academic qualification at Level 5 / Level 6, and a recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to gain one).  You also require experience of teaching English GCSE and or Functional Skills and knowledge of curriculum planning and development to meet the learning needs of all students within a possibly diverse cohort. Good written and verbal communication skills and good IT skills are also essential.
