Rate of pay:    £23,000 – £30,000 per annum dependent on experience   Job Type:  Full-time

Hours:   9.00 – 17.00

Duties will include:

  • Developing and implementing a personal sales plan
  • Having responsibility for actively researching and finding new customers, identifying customer need, and identifying market trends securing new targeted sales based on % new clients and % value of sales
  • Collecting market intelligence and analyse competitors
  • Targeted sales role, generating new business leads by cold calling, emailing, online chat and conference calls to prospective clients
  • Presenting services, prepare proposals, perform contract and price negotiations, prepare contractual documents and close the sale with clients
  • Negotiating contracts to a successful conclusion by creating a win-win for Ticketmedia and its customers
  • Managing the complete sales process from lead generation to closing the sale in line with sales targets
  • Professionally managing your newly acquired accounts to build long-term, loyal and profitable customer relationships for the company
  • Obtaining additional knowledge and visibility through attending industry events
  • Providing monthly position reports to line manager
  • Achieving and exceeding revenue targets
  • Collecting product feedback, presenting ideas and improvements to line manager
  • Assisting with problem solving to the benefit of client relationships
  • Forecasting likelihood of renewal next year being positive or negative – identifying renewals at risk and discuss a proposal with line manager to manage and execute a plan devised to reduce risk and increase likelihood of continued sales.
  • Carry out responsible requests across the Group
  • Perform other duties as assigned from time to time

The ideal candidate:

  • Minimum of 2 years successful (demonstratable) Sales experience in equivalent role
  • Track record in building relationships – in person, online and via telephone
  • Hunger, drive and motivation to exceed targets
  • An eloquent communicator
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work on own initiative and manage varied workloads according to official and natural deadlines
  • Experience of working with database/CRM packages and other Microsoft Office applications
  • Willingness to work within a team and achieve both individual and wider team goals
  • Strong account management skills
  • Evidence of ability to forecast financial outcomes, identifying challenges and risks and to manage a plan of action in those circumstances
  • Educated to a degree level or higher
