Nelbro Group are a supported living provider in the London and Brighton area.

We are looking for dedicated support workers to join our team to work with young people aged 16 to 19 years who are placed in semi-independent accommodation.

We have a number of semi-independent homes in Brighton and Hove Area. The homes are open 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Therefore you will be expected to work in a shift system offering you opportunity for additional shifts. equally, flexibility is important - you must be able to work late shifts and weekends days or nights. Our shifts run from 9am - 9pm, 9am - 11pm with a sleep in, and 9pm -9am waking night shift.

To be a Residential Support Worker at Nelbro, you will have experience in working with children and young people. Whilst the role has its challenges, the results you will see from the young people you work with are incomparable.

What will you be doing?

You will be assisting the service users with day to day tasks (washing clothes, shopping, ironing, job search, college applications)

You will accompany the service users out in the community (doctors appointments, leisure activities)

You will complete daily logs and weekly reports

You will partake in Key work with the service users

You will follow structured reporting procedures

You will liaise with social workers

You will be following safeguarding procedures
