Job overview

The Hampshire CAMHS Digital Blended Team has an exciting opportunity for a Band 5 (development to Band 6) CAMHS nurse to join a friendly, supportive, dedicated and innovative team.

The team works countywide, delivering a blended model (face to face and online) primarily focused on ADHD assessments and therapeutic interventions for low mood and anxiety. We work with some of the longest-waiting young people in Hampshire, with a specific goal to reduce waiting times across the service.

You will join a relatively new team, committed to providing the highest quality care to the families we work with. We liaise closely with locality teams county-wide and work in partnership with other agencies, particularly education and social care, to deliver positive outcomes for young people.

As well as delivering direct interventions, clinicians also contribute to the development of content for the MindDistrict platform, with a view to enabling wider access to modules and routine outcome measures for many young people open to Hampshire CAMHS in 2022.

There is a strong focus on supporting participation and participating in research within the team.

Main duties of the job

You must hold a core professional qualification and be registered with a recognised professional body to be considered for this post.

The role will suit newly qualified candidates or those looking for a change in their current pathway. The post supports progression as it is specifically funded to grant a B6 position on the successful candidate demonstrating the necessary competencies and completing the Trust's Preceptorship Training.

Working for our organisation

Hampshire CAMHS values the contribution that nursing, social work and allied health professionals bring, and has a well-established structure and strategy. Robust and supportive supervision and governance arrangements are in place to support high quality and effective clinical practice. We are a CQC Good-rated Trust (rated Outstanding for Caring).

Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is supportive of staff professional development and provides access to quality training opportunities.

Hampshire CAMHS prioritises staff wellbeing and we encourage colleagues to maintain a positive work-life balance, with robust clinical and line management supervision, support and training. Service leadership is strong and supportive.

All our work is based on encouraging our people to work creatively and be innovative in their thinking to support new and different ways of working.

We encourage flexible working. We know that a positive work/ life balance brings about huge health-related benefits, which has a positive impact on the care we provide. Please speak to us about flexible working, for example, home-working, part time hours, flexible start/ finish times or anything else. If it works for you and works for the role, we'll do our best to make it happen.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
Please consult the attached job description for details of the role and main responsibilities.

Make sure you reference the person specification within your application.
