Full-time - 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
Based at Broadwater Campus and Home Based.
We are seeking to appoint a Lead Internal Quality Assurer to lead the portfolio of Work Based Learning Apprenticeships. The person appointed will have responsibility for the quality assurance of the apprenticeship programme, including the delivery of Functional Skills, and will manage sector staff and resources for Apprenticeships delivered in the work place in response to employer’s needs. The post also carries with it the responsibility for developing flexible delivery models to meet employer’s requirements and line managing a team of Skills Coaches, alongside assessing a caseload and fitting in 1:2:1’s, employer engagement, EQA visits, team meetings and Standardisations.
The role requires an individual who can lead and inspire assessors whilst ensuring compliance with key processes and responsibilities is maintained in line with College and Awarding Body management procedures.
You will require effective working knowledge of the Apprenticeship programme and experience of assessing and internal verification and running flexible work based delivery models. Also experience of leading a field based team of assessors/internal quality assurers.
You will hold an assessor and IV qualification (TAQA L4 or equivalent IQA qualification) and GCSE maths and English at grade C or above (or equivalent).
