The AAT Level 3 Advanced Certificate in Bookkeeping consists of three individual units as listed above. Each unit is assessed by an end of unit externally set examination which covers all of the material covered in each unit. Students who successfully complete all units will be awarded the AAT Level 3 Advanced Certificate in Bookkeeping and are able to apply for the designatory letters 'AATQB'.
This course will be delivered online and all resources will be provided electronically.
- It is expected that all students have already passed the AAT Level 2 Certificate in Bookkeeping or an equivalent qualification which includes manual double entry bookkeeping to this level.
- Students should have a high level of written and spoken English and maths, equivalent to at least GCSE grade ‘C’.
- Students should also have good basic IT skills and ideally have some experience of using Microsoft Excel software.
