Full-time 37 hours per week


Based at the Central Campus, Brighton


We are looking for a coordinator who will be responsible for arranging host accommodation for prospective and existing international students.  The role also involves providing support where required to the International team. 


We are seeking enthusiastic and proactive candidates, preferably with experience of working with international students.  You will be dealing with students from many nationalities so it is vital that you have a good understanding of and respect for people from different backgrounds.  With excellent communication skills, you will have demonstrable IT skills and proven administrative experience. You will be able to work independently and adapt quickly to any unexpected situation. This is a pressured role suitable for candidates who perform well under stress.  This is a customer-facing role and involves daily interaction with students to provide a high quality student experience.  


You will need to be hard-working, positive, friendly and reliable and will require experience of working in a busy and proactive customer service office environment and of working in a problem-solving role.  Awareness and sensitivity to cultural differences with excellent communication skills, a confident telephone manner and a high level of diplomacy is also essential.  As is excellent IT skills (Word processing, databases etc) and proven administrative experience.
