Varndean School requires an enthusiastic, committed and outstanding teacher of Science for a September 2022 start. This is a permanent, part time position.

The busy and productive Science department is at the heart of the school’s curriculum.  Standards are high and we are very proud of the GCSE results achieved. We are looking for a colleague who can help the Head of Science as they set about fulfilling the school’s ambitious academic agenda.

Varndean is a ‘Good’ school (Ofsted 2017). Ofsted commented that:

''Since the last inspection, you have strengthened the quality of teaching in the school. This has resulted in improved progress for pupils in all years and in better GCSE examination results.“
