MUSIC AND ARTS ADMINISTRATOR
Mayfield is looking to recruit an enthusiastic, flexible and experienced administrator to join its performance arts department providing support to the Director of Music and Head of Drama.
The successful applicant will be responsible for co-ordinating music and drama lessons, examinations and other aspects of the department. They will also be responsible for organising concerts and productions from the booking of venues to the promotions of events. They will be responsible for the compilation of billing and payroll information for the School’s Bursary Department.
Applicants must be an experienced administrator and have excellent organisational skills. They will have a positive can-do attitude and ideally, will have worked in an educational environment previously. They will bring exceptional communication skills along with the ability to work on their own initiative. A passion for music and drama would be beneficial as would previous experience of performance and concert programming.
The successful candidate will work 37.5 hours per week with some flexibility required as there will be a need for some evening and weekend working. Salary will be dependent on experience.
Mayfield is a leading independent Catholic boarding and day school for 400 girls aged 11-18 years, set in 75 acres of beautiful Sussex countryside, less than 50 miles from London, 40 minutes from Gatwick and 15 minutes from the charming historic town of Tunbridge Wells.
