Due to expansion within the company, we are seeking an experienced Carpenter / Joiner to become part of our growing team. The Carpenter / Joiner will be working on a range of bespoke joinery. Projects will range from creating, making and fitting doors, windows, large cabinet units and other up market housing fixtures at sites such as historical restoration jobs through to new-builds and refurbishment works in the commercial and residential sectors.

Carpenter / Joiner Position Overview

• Interpret working drawings & briefs accurately and efficiently Build, join and assemble a raft of bespoke woodwork Operate specific items of machinery in-line with company procedures Manage own workload appropriately and seek assistance when required Maintain all tools and workshop facilities in an appropriate manner Assist with the installation of projects on site when required Liaise with other trades, suppliers, and clients on site Act as an ambassador for the company at all times Support the Senior Leadership Team in developing processes and procedures to improve all aspects of the company's operations Undertake other tasks as reasonably requested by the Senior Leadership Team

Carpenter / Joiner Position Requirements

You will be/have;

• A suitable Carpentry qualification (not essential as experience is what qualifies you) Experience and Competency using woodworking machinery, power and hand tools. Experience in working in a joinery workshop (not essential) Some understanding of technical drawings An eye for detail and high standards of workmanship Fluent in English and have the full right to work in the UK Able to work from your own initiative or as part of a team. Full drivers’ licence Based within commuting distance (Approx.1 hour away max) Positive and committed to delivering an effective customer service A sense of humour and desire to help others where need be

Carpenter / Joiner Position Remuneration

• Highly Competitive Salary (Dependent on experience) + overtime when available On-site parking 20 days holiday plus BH Pension scheme (extremely competitive) Chance to work on some extremely prestigious projects Other benefits can be discussed at interview

Experience in any of the following would be advantageous:

Understanding of the commercial side to the business, experience in staff supervision and experience in surveying jobs.
