Teaching & Learning Assistant - Supporting & Delivering Learning Level D, Part-Time, Brighton

We are looking to appoint a D Grade innovative Teaching & Learning Assistant who can join our team of dedicated and committed professionals as soon as possible.  You will need to have an interest in working with young people and be looking for an opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in this area.

Many of our Teaching & Learning Assistants have undertaken training opportunities provided and have gone on to careers in teaching.

The hours of work are 27.5 hours per week, 47.15 weeks per year pro rata.  This equates to 5.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday inclusive, 8.25am to 2.50pm (term time only).

The salary scale for this post is LGA Scale 6 currently £25,927-£27,514 pa, full-time equivalent.  The actual pro rata starting salary is £17,472-£18,541 per annum.  There are opportunities to increase your salary by running lunchtime and homework clubs.
