Looking for your next role in the Marketing arena? We have an exciting opportunity at B&CE for a candidate that has experience but also the desire to grow with an expanding organisation. The role is hybrid and is a 12 month FTC.

Main Purpose:

The Digital Marketing Executive is a new role within the Digital Marketing team.
We are looking for an all-round digital marketer who will be responsible for updating and optimising content on the company websites (WordPress), building and sending emails from our CRM/ESP, and social media planning.

Having experience and knowledge of standard digital marketing activities such as PPC, SEO and remarketing would be beneficial.

You will work closely with our 3rd party agencies (digital marketing and video), to carry out website content audits and manage the relationship with them to complete web-based projects and support with campaign planning.

Key Responsibilities:

- Implement a programme of planned content audits and updates including for tax year-end and other changes required by regulation or the business.
- Create, implement, and oversee copy on all web pages, ensuring it is engaging and SEO optimised.Work with agency partners to carry out regular content and website audits, and support with campaign plans i.e. remarketing and 3rd party mentions.
- Work with 3rd party suppliers to manage bulk email sends and reporting Building and sending bulk emails using ESPs to our customer base, including regular email newsletters and any ad hoc/solus campaign emails.
- Advise stakeholders and marketing colleagues on digital marketing best practice and advise on digital activities to maximise campaign and project effectiveness
- Analyse the effectiveness of PPC campaigns and optimise accordingly
- Works with stakeholders from across the business and marketing colleagues to plan social media campaigns to help amplify our key messages and raise the profile of the business and our internal experts/influencers (LinkedIn and Facebook).
- Adhere to Company Risk Management policy and procedures, including reporting of incidents or breaches.
- Apply and promote Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) culture and principles, Clear English Standard together with the organisation’s behaviours and values.
- Adhere to Company Diversity & Inclusion policy.

Skill/ Experience:

Essential
• Educated to A level or equivalent
• Experience of quality control of copy content
• Experience of internal stakeholder engagement
• Experience of working on CMS
• Experience of social media campaigns
• Experience of working with mass email platforms
• Knowledge of current best practice in promotional and technical content marketing
• Experience of working independently and as part of a team
• Understanding of writing for offline and digital channels
• Understanding of brand compliance, CRM and SEO
• Experience in PPC and Remarketing campaigns
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
• Ability to work in a project environment
• A passion for brand and house style
• Ability to understand complex and technical issues and communicate them simply
• Collaborative working style

Desirable
• Degree or equivalent experience
• Experience of content marketing for UK financial services
• Experience of writing for multiple products / services
• Experience of reviewing and approving copy
• Experience of working in a regulated environment
• Good understanding of the organisation’s products and markets
• Good knowledge of pension and occupational health systems
• Content production experience
• Understanding and experience of using the Clear English Standard
