Accounts Administrator
We are seeking an Accounts Administrator to handle the day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping needs of the business.
This is a varied and diverse role at a growing technology company. You will be at the front of house and required to handle calls and deal with all financial matters relating to the company.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: Up to £27,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Duties
- Reconciling payments on Sage / Xero accounting platforms
- Credit control
- Collecting accounts information from customers and entry onto CMS
- Managing customer accounting info on Stripe and other internal apps
- Making large volume transactions each month
- VAT submissions
- Invoicing on Sage and Xero
- Paying suppliers
- Managing payees with online banking
- Taking payments over the phone
- Handling incoming calls and dealing with customer enquiries related to accounts
- Taking on a wide variety of related admin crucial to day to day running of the business.
- Liaising with clients to answer queries related to revenue collection and seeking account details from clients as part of onboarding process

Topupmeters is a growing technology company providing on online payment service for prepayment smart meters.
Whilst this is an accounts role and so a history in accounts is required, it is also a customer service based role and so the successful candidate must also feel comfortable and confident speaking on the phone.
About the candidate
This is an ideal role for an accounts assistant, looking to progress to the next level and be customer facing, rather than behind the scenes.
The role will be Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (with over time as and when required) and will, primarily, be an office based role
