Job Details
Full-time - 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.
Fixed term until 30 April 2023.
Based at our Central campus, Brighton
This diverse role requires a very highly organised, efficient, and flexible individual who is both process and customer focused, and able to produce all work to a very high standard and to tight deadlines. To provide comprehensive administrative support to the Project Manager - Maths Centre for Excellence, we require an experienced and highly motivated Administrator with excellent interpersonal skills.
They will be responsible for managing a busy office, the associated administration functions, and providing highly effective and efficient administration within a designated cluster of local schools and colleges.
They will need to be extremely flexible, and importantly produce work of a very high standard to tight deadlines. They will have excellent administration and organisation skills plus high-level written and verbal communication skills. Excellent IT skills and a customer service focus are essential, as is the ability to work on your own initiative and be proactive and positive.
The post holder will need to possess a high level of professionalism and confidentiality, demonstrate proven initiative, an aptitude for responding to and managing new and changing circumstances with a positive ‘can do’ attitude, and an ability to interpret and implement ideas, procedures and processes in a coherent and accessible manner. Excellent IT skills, advanced Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, and Word skills and excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills are essential for this role.
The role requires delivering a very high level of customer service to students, staff, and external stakeholders, together with the ability to manage enquiries, work collaboratively with other College departments and communicate effectively Attendance at College recruitment and marketing events will also be required and this may involve some evening and weekend work.
