Accounts Manager

Award winning Electric Hairdressing is looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic Accounts Manager to join the team. Based in Brighton with 4 salons across the country and a growing product range.

Reporting to the Finance Manager and Owner, the role will be responsible for:

All accounts for the salons;

Bank and credit card reconciliations

Updating cash flow report, intercompany accounts and monitoring salon spends

Extensive purchase ledger for all businesses

Processing the payroll for all businesses including pension scheme admin

Sales ledger and credit control

Quarterly VAT returns for all businesses

Year-end accounts preparation

This is an incredibly busy role which will require someone with excellent attention to detail, communication and timekeeping skills, and be used to working on own initiative.  Must be proficient in Excel and Sage.  Ideally be AAT qualified or passed finalist, with at least 5 years experience of working in a financial role.  We would consider part-time also.
