‍Job Summary

A Digital Designer is needed to join a well established, growing Marketing and Design Company in Crawley. As a key member of the design team, we are looking for someone who can support the execution of a variety of projects and deliverables, whilst reporting directly to the Head of Design.

The successful candidate will need to have good communication skills, as they will need to liaise directly with clients to ensure their design brief is met. The candidate must be creative, hard working and highly organised with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Liaising with clients to determine their requirements and budget;
• Managing client proposals from the offset, from design to print and production;
• Working with clients, briefing and advising them with regard to design style, format, print production and timescales;
• Developing concepts, graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and websites;
• Preparing rough drafts of material based on an agreed brief;
• Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements if required;
• Working with a range of media, including Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma and keeping up to date with emerging technologies.

Person Specification

• Minimum of 1 year prior experience in creating graphics, UI and designing websites, with a solid grasp of design concepts;
• Adobe skills are essential; and knowledge of Microsoft programmes, Weblow and Figma are advantageous
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills;
• Strong verbal and written communication skills;
• Creativity and Flexibility are essential;
• Enthusiasm for the design process with an attention to detail;
