What will the apprentice be doing?
You will be responsible for the majority of the writing & production of the magazine. You will create the flat plan, contact, and interview for features and liaise with the designer. You will also write social media posts and email newsletters, you will be regularly posting to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter & Linkedin.
You will have a great deal of responsibility and largely be working on your own. You will build up an impressive portfolio and gain experience in every aspect of creating a print and digital magazine.

General - You must be a social person and like meeting and chatting with people. You will also need to be creative, organised, and detailed. But most of all you must be a good writer.
Technical - Knowledge of submitting to social will be ideal. If you know a little Indesign then this is also an advantage.
This role is partly remote based, ideally, you’d work a day or 2 a week in Tunbridge Wells center. But this is not essential, the right candidate will be able to work anywhere and remotely.
You’ll be supplied with an iMac which will be ideally located in Tunbridge wells.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
You will undertake the Junior Content Producer Level 3 Apprenticeship.
Apprentices will receive a mixture of on and off-the-job training in addition to monthly sessions with a Training Coach. Training will be provided at our Training Centre in Brighton and our Training Coaches will offer support and guidance in the workplace where apprentices will gain on-the job experience to build the necessary skills, knowledge, and behaviours they need to begin their career in Content Digital Marketing. 20% off the job training is classed a 1 day study towards your apprenticeship.
Digital and Content Producer Apprentice. You will be provided with core digital support across a range of key digital areas including web content management, content creation (using Adobe InDesign and photoshop), social media, Mailchimp, and other apps for ensuring the smooth running of the company with a focus on producing brilliant content
You will be trained in:
Planning content strategies
Creating and evaluating the content
Wide understanding of the media industry
Optimising web content for to ensure high search engine rankings
Researching ideas and concepts
Presenting client pitches and proposals
English and maths Level 2 - if GCSE Grade C or above, (level 4-9) has not already been achieved.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
We will offer a full-time position to the right person to work with our small and tightly knit team moving forward. (Most of our apprentices work hard, achieve their apprenticeship qualification, develop sought-after skills and are then employed on an ongoing basis after their apprenticeship).

Luxury BnB is a b2b bi-monthly magazine. Our aim is to educate and inform owners and managers of BnBs, Boutique Hotels and Holiday lets. Miramedia is a web design agency which largely works for publishing and events companies. We purchased the magazine 2 years ago. We have redesigned the magazine and website and built up a solid social presence. Our processes and planning systems are now in place and we have ambitious plans for future growth.
