We have an opportunity to appoint a Head of Access who is an excellent practitioner looking for an exciting Teacher and Learning responsibility leading our forward-thinking Access Department.

You may be an ambitious teacher seeking your first TLR, or you may already be a successful middle leader. We believe in developing the capacity of our staff and the successful candidate will be given the opportunity to participate in CPD that will enhance knowledge and support growth.

We are particularly interested in employing a candidate who has a strong, forward-looking vision for the Access Department and SEND students.

The ideal candidate will:

• Be an outstanding teacher with the drive and capacity to really thrive in this role and to become an exceptional leader;

• Will have a clear vision of how to support SEND students and improve standards in the Access Department;

• Have the ability to teach and lead across both Key Stages 3 & 4;

• Be able to lead, motivate and inspire students and colleagues;

• Be resilient, hard-working, solution focused, and committed to transforming student outcomes.
