IT Support Technician

Location: Brighton and Eastbourne

Salary: £27,116 to £30,497 pro rata 29.5 hours per week

Closing Date: Thursday 18 August 2022

 

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Technical Services team as an IT Support Technician.

In this role, you will support IT, Media and Audio-Visual facilities at the Eastbourne site, including open access computer areas, IT teaching/training rooms and library computer facilities as well as lecture theatres and multi-purpose halls. You will also assist with the maintenance of the portfolio of IT services on the site and feedback suggested improvement and comments.

To excel in this role, you will

  • Have a recognised, relevant qualification.
  • Have demonstrable competence and depth of knowledge in the use and support of specialist equipment and software in the use of IT, Media and Audio-Visual services.
  • Considerable work experience in the subject area.

 

Whilst this post is based at our Brighton Eastbourne, post holders at the University of Brighton may be required to work in any of the Brighton University campus.

This is a part-time permanent post at 29.5 hours per week. This job is not suitable for job sharing.
