We want a teacher of English with excellent subject knowledge to join our English department. This post would suit a newly qualified teacher or a more experienced teacher seeking a new challenge. We may consider applications from unqualified teachers who are keen to gain qualified teacher status.
We aim to recruit staff who:
- Are excited by their role and by the prospect of challenging young people to achieve their very best
- Love the processes of teaching and learning and are keen to continually develop their own skills
- Recognise that teaching can be a demanding job and react positively to those demands

- Remain at the forefront of pedagogy, educational research and debate

In addition to this tremendously good news I can also report that the school has been allocated £6million to make the changes to our building design. The funding will enable us to return to traditional individual classrooms moving away from the open plan PODs that are a current feature of the school. We will also be able to create 7 new Science Labs, new Food Technology, Computer Science rooms and a much needed Library.

My aim is for Bexhill High Academy to be judged to be a ‘good’ school by the end of 2016 and ‘Outstanding’ by 2019.
