Catering Assistant

Catering Assistant required –

Subway at the Royal Sussex County Hospital – Possible temp to perm position available

Successful candidates will work 5 days per week on a 7-day rote, £9.50 per hour Monday to Friday - £13.40 per hour Saturdays - £17.39 per hour Sundays & Bank Holidays. Higher rates after 12 weeks of continuous work.

28 days Paid Annual Leave, Subsidised Canteen, Hourly rate as above (not age dependent), Possible permanent position following a successful trial period

• You will need to provide 3 forms of ID
• You will need to provide us full employment or training dates back to education with any gaps explained.
• Written references to validate a period of 3 consecutive years of continuous employment, training or education are required.

In this role you will be expected to provide an efficient, effective and flexible catering service to all our customers. Communication and face to face contact with patients, visitors and all staff will be a key part of the role.

All kitchen assistants are required to be courteous and helpful with a sensible and safe approach to work at all times observing Trust policies and procedures.
