Do you ensure people are the primary focus to deliver new ways of working, projects and initiatives? As a HR Graduate you will experience the full lifecycle of HR;

What is the Programme?

Its for 2 years. And will help you to understand more about running our Airport. Tailored to suit you. You will be able to give your best and to redefine what's possible.  You will be involved in live projects that deliver what matters. Part of the programme will include a leadership development module with the other graduates and a dedicated coach (a senior leader from the business) who will help to build resilience in the workplace.

Starting your rotation in employee experience you'll develop an understanding of fundamental HR tasks involved in onboarding our employees and the transactions needed. You'll build your HR & employment law knowledge as you manage 1st line queries from managers and employees who need advice and support in employee related issues.

Then there is a choice between Talent Acquisition and Talent Development. You'll either learn about attraction, selection, and recruitment trends or learning and development, leadership development and engagement. Both teams assess the people needs across the organisation and design solutions to meet them.

The 3rd rotation will be Reward. You will learn about compensation and benefits. This will give an introduction to pay, job evaluation and benefits and the opportunity to learn about pay models, decision making in benefits solutions and much more.

Your final placement will be in the business facing HR team alongside the Business Partners and People Advisors. You'll be involved in employee relations casework and supporting Business Partners as they work with their stakeholders on people initiatives.

  • Minimum 2:1 degree (or projected for 2023) from the past 2 years
  • Logical thinker with an aptitude for problem-solving
  • Highly numerate, with an understanding of Data analysis
  • Ability to prioritise and work at pace
  • Ability to build good relationships and influence across the Airport
  • Creative, innovative, curious to find a better way
  • Enthusiastic, energetic, always trying to be your best self
  • Team working- you'll enjoy working in a team environment, sharing ideas, and collaborating with colleagues as well as other graduates

Selection Process

  1. An online application that will involve a CV – closing date 30th November 2022
  2. Online assessments to demonstrate your strengths and the necessary behaviours to be successful
  3. If successful a virtual 1st stage screening call

An assessment centre with group and individual activities as well as a behaviour-based interview with the opportunity to meet managers and explore the airport.
