Mind in Brighton and Hove (MiBH) empowers and supports people who have experience of mental health issues in Brighton and Hove, East and West Sussex. 

We are seeking a part-time (28 hours per week) Community Wellbeing Coordinator based in Hastings. This role will involve the delivery of two projects: Wellbeing in East Sussex and Breathing Space. The Wellbeing in East Sussex project delivers community events and wellbeing activities across East Sussex. Breathing Space provides mental wellbeing support to tenants of Orbit Housing across Sussex who are referred for support to enhance their mental wellbeing and build long-term resilience. This support is provided over the telephone, online and also face-to-face.

The role will be varied and busy, requiring excellent communication skills and the ability to work flexibly. We are looking for someone who can communicate well and is able to both deliver groups and community activities that help people to look after their wellbeing, as well as provide bespoke support to individual clients.

This is a fixed-term role until 30 September 2023 with a possible extension to 31 March 2024.
