Job overview

Job overview - bringing your passion and energy to our services

The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services Provider Collaboratives have responsibility for developing and providing the mental health services young people receive when they are very ill and likely to need admission to hospital. However, following best practice and recognising that hospital is not always the best place for everyone, we are developing a range of new services that can support young people, keeping them safely in the community whenever possible.

We are seeking a Project Manager (Service Development) to work across the Hampshire & Dorset and Kent & Sussex Provider Collaboratives, to help us re-design and develop new services for the young people we support.

This is an extremely exciting time to be joining the Collaboratives, and we are after someone who is passionate, energised and can bring a 'can do' mentality to their work to help us transform our current service models.

Main duties of the job

The role - what we need

The Project Manager (Service Development) will work closely with clinical and other colleagues across the Provider Collaboratives partner Trusts and within SPFT as the Lead Provider for the Collaboratives. They will have a good balance of clinical service re-design experience, understanding clinical pathways and the ability to work with senior clinicians to develop services, alongside a good understanding of project planning approaches and experience.

You may or may not have a clinical background, but you will understand the process of developing clinical services, alongside excellent organisational, project management and communications skills.

The role is an exciting new post within the Provider Collaboratives so if you want to help us shape and transform CAMHS Tier 4 services across the counties we cover and you have the skills and experience outlined in the Job Description, then please do apply.

If you would like an informal chat about the role before applying - please contact Dilip Chakrabarti (Programme Lead for the Collaboratives) via the number below.
