Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join People's Partnership as an Events Manager. Working within a Marketing team and reporting into the Head of Marketing Operations. The successful candidate will manage the external events function for the organisation, to ensure there is a proactive, creative well managed programme that optimises opportunities for all parts of the business. Contribute to a marketing centre of excellence with a strong understanding of and focus on digital culture and capability.

Duties and Responsibilities

Leads the external events function, ensuring there is a proactive, creative and well managed programme that optimises opportunities for all parts of the business
Creates and implements an insight and evidence-led, targeted, value for money, innovative and effective events strategy
Identifies where events can add value and manages them in line with team and department processes and procedures
Recommends SLAs, KPIs and metrics for events and works with the Marketing Analysts to ensure agreed measures are tracked, evaluated and acted on
Uses data and analytics to identify, implement, evaluate and improve any events

Skills and Experience

Professional qualification e.g. CIM Chartered Marketer or equivalent
Marketing degree or commensurate experience
Demonstrable experience of marketing campaigns, partnership working and stakeholder engagement
Knowledge of current best practice in marketing
Demonstrable experience of events management
Experience of B2B and B2C marketing
Experience of practical application of customer insight and data analytics
Experience of segmentation and marketing metrics
Understanding of creative and cost-effective events management
Recent track record in the design and delivery of creative and impactful marketing
