Job summary WORTHING EARLY INTERVENTION IN PSYCHOSIS SERVICE. Team Administrator Band 3 (NHS AfC) Contract : Substantive/Permanent Hours :37.5 hrs pw. Mon-Fr 9-5pm Early Intervention in Psychosis Service has an exciting opportunity to join the Worthing Team as Team Administrator. Closing date 26th February 2023 We are a friendly and supportive multidisciplinary team who work with people aged 14 - 65 who are experiencing their first episode of psychosis. Our hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. The post is based at Arun House, Liverpool Gardens in Worthing. We are looking for a team administrator who will work alongside the team leader and team colleagues, assisting with the smooth running of the office base and assist with supporting service delivery. Main duties of the job Tasks will include: taking phone calls from service users, their families and professionals, minute taking, covering reception, typing of clinical letters and helping to maintain and input data for a number of audits and systems needed for the smooth running of the service. (You may be the first point of contact for people experiencing emotional distress. Further training in how to understand psychosis and other mental health difficulties can be provided to support you in your role).

We are looking for someone to join our enthusiastic and dedicated team, someone who is willing to provide administrative support to the whole team. You will be someone who's strengths including; planning and organisational skills, excellent time management and someone who is adaptive and able to respond to the challenges of change and development of an exciting service.

A working knowledge of Word and Excel will be essential. Further trainingcan be given for this and other NHS systems if required.

Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team you will need to be able to communicate well and work with professionals from a variety of professional backgrounds and a have a compassionate, holistic and person-centred approach. About us This small, friendly, multi-disciplinary team is based at Arun House in Worthing town centre, within walking distance of the beach and pier, shops and cafes. The service offers support and treatment to people aged 14 - 65 who have experienced either a first episode of psychosis or present with an At Risk Mental State. Practitioners in the team are passionate about their work, and are committed to supporting families and working in a psychologically informed way. The AAW EIP team is one of 6 Early Intervention in Psychosis teams provided by the Trust. The teams have a single service-wide governance group which oversees and leads on the delivery of care. Organizationally, the teams sit within the Trust's Children and Young People's Services division. You will be provided with individual supervision and opportunities to link with other team Administrators both within EIP and other services for peer support and development. Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust provides mental health and learning disability services in and across Sussex.
