Head Chef – circa £38,000 to £40,000 per annum

Mayfield School are looking for an enthusiastic and flexible individual to join our friendly, hardworking and creative Catering Team. Our Catering Team are an integral part of the School community ensuring that our students and staff have a first class dining experience at every meal.

Are you a Head Chef looking to move away from late nights and working every weekend but still want to work with an imaginative and passionate team, then this could be the role for you?

You will be leading a small team to deliver high quality, nutritious food to our students, staff and visitors. You will already be a Head Chef or an experienced Sous Chef looking for your first Head Chef position. Your background will include catering for larger numbers as well as more exclusive dining.

You will be working 40 hours based on five out of seven days which will include some evenings and weekends, a typical late finish is only 9:00pm.

Our Support Staff know that their contribution to the School is vital to its overall success and in ensuring that our students achieve their greatest educational goals.
