Job Title: Youth Worker 

 

Hours: Part Time 12.5 hours per week  

 

Reports to: Youth Project Manager 

 

 

 

Tarner Community Project is a charity dedicated to running children and young people’s services in the Tarner and central areas of Brighton, working in partnership with the other citywide youth services.  

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone with a passion for working with young people to help develop a range of healthy activities for young people of all backgrounds in the Tarner area and  to create opportunities for young people to play an active part in planning, organising, and delivering youth projects and support those who choose to participate in that process  

 

This opportunity provides the successful candidate a chance to have a significant positive impact on the ongoing high-quality provision of youth services. It also offers the chance to work flexibly on a part time basis with a high level of autonomy, whilst working within a small professional team 

 

The ideal candidate will have a passion to work within Youth Services and the ability to engage and build supportive relationships with young people.
