People's Partnership have an exciting opportunity to join our growing team as a Senior HR Adviser – Employee Relations.

This role is a hybrid opportunity with the successful candidate working both at home and in the office on a 6 month fixed term contract.

Main Purpose:

Take the lead for all Employee Relations matters and work with HR Business Partners, managers and employees to provide expert advice on ER issues, ensuring that matters are resolved effectively, using up to date legislation and best practice.

Ensure managers are trained on how to handle basic ER issues, to avoid matters escalating and ensure People’s Partnership’s values are upheld and reflected in all ER related activities.

Act as an ambassador for the culture of the organisation.

Actively contribute to the reputation of the HR team as an add-value and enabling function, trusted by the organisation for people related matters. Consistently seek out ways to improve and enhance deliverables from the HR function.

Skills & Experience:

Essential

• Demonstrable ER experience
• Proven experience of working in a fast paced, commercial, financial services environment
• Experience in a regulatory environment
• Expert MS Office user with at least intermediate Excel skills
• Highly analytical with the ability to produce and interpret relevant KPIs and people metrics
• Up to date with latest employment legislation
• People focused, with excellent relationship building skills
• Calm and objective under pressure

Desirable

• Line management, operational or coaching experience
• Recognised, current, professional qualification (degree and/or CIPD)
