Job summary Within Hampshire we are currently growing our Children's Wellbeing Practitioner (CWP) Workforce with the intention of aligning this provision with Primary Care teams across the county to provide direct mental health support. This hugely exciting new role provides career progression for trained and experienced CWPs. This new Senior CWP position within our teams will support in the leadership, support and development of the growing CWP workforce and to champion Low Intensity Working and enhancing the offer from the teams in relation to supporting our Primary Care colleagues. For applicants that hold the necessary qualification and demonstrate experience and competency but are not yet working at a level to deliver all elements of the job description as a service we will provide the necessary support and supervision to develop these skills and will also link where appropriate to Higher Education Institutes to undertake further training for the advance clinical practice and supervision. Main duties of the job To work as a Senior Qualified member of the CWP Team to provide a high quality, psychological therapy service to young people, their families or carers. In addition, to support psychological practice within the team by communicating effectively about the psychological care of clients, by contributing to the supervision of psychological practitioners and trainees and less experienced psychological therapists, and by participating in systematic clinical governance.
