Hours: Monday to Thursday 08.30 – 17.00 Friday 08.30 – 16.15

Flexible mindset to work additional hours depending on workload

The Role:

ASL is an interesting, growing business providing specialist service into the Military sector. Due to our expansion, we are looking for an Electronic Engineering Technician to join our team working at our Horsham site. This position is mainly working with voltages of up to 3-phase 200v 400hz.

Key Responsibilities:

• Practical Electronic skills.

• Awareness of ESD (training will be given).

• Use of test equipment including digital multi-meter, oscilloscope, signal generator, psu. Knowledge of older technology from the 1970’s an advantage.

• Documenting all processes within our quality accreditation.

• Ability to read electronic diagrams.

• General & PCB testing & repair.

• Basic fault finding.

• Soldering.

Requirements:

• Good problem-solving skills

• Willingness to adopt flexible work patterns when required to meet business needs

• Willingness to work with all levels within the organisation

• Strong analytical skills.

• Willingness to learn.

• Proactive and have excellent attention to detail.

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in electronics.

• Be able to meet deadlines and be performance driven.

• Excel, Word & Outlook are essential.
