THERAPEUTIC BEHAVIOUR SUPPORT ASSISTANT
- NJC GRADE 4, points 5 – 6 - £23,500 - £23,893 (£15,978 - £16,245 pro rata)
- Term Time Only plus INSET Days
- 29.2 hours per week (unpaid break and lunch) 8.30 am – 3.10 pm
- FTC required ASAP until July 2024 - Flexible working hours will be considered
We are seeking an outstanding individual who is confident, well organised, self-motivated and with good interpersonal skills. The successful applicant will be a valued member of the Behaviour Team, working with students in mainstream classes, alongside teaching colleagues.
The focus of the support is for both individual students and groups. The role of the Therapeutic Behaviour Support Assistant is to provide a therapeutic approach to behaviour management to complement the effective systems already in place. With the aim of reducing the number of students repeatedly making poor choices and to provide therapeutic strategies in place to support students with pastoral issues impacting on their school life.
