Are you looking for an employer who will sponsor you through your qualification, whilst providing valuable and exciting on-the-job experience within a global, innovative and industry leading organisation?
Your role will support the User Experience Lead within the Talent, Learning & Culture (TLC) Team, where you will design and maintain learning and development resources. You will learn how to challenge our ways of working and shape better user experiences for our employees. This is an exciting opportunity to work with different teams within Talent, Learning and Culture to deliver solutions to the business that make us more efficient and effective.
The Programme:
You will be studying towards a Level 6 Digital User Experience (UX) Degree Apprenticeship at Manchester Metropolitan University.
This programme is taught part-time over four years on the MMU campus in central Manchester.
Each year there will be around 24 days of classroom learning, organised into six blocks of four days – mirroring the sprint approach common in digital projects. A skills coach at the University and a Thales UK supervisor undertake regular progress reviews and support apprentices in their work and studies.
As well as lectures on campus, apprentices complete projects in the workplace, tackling challenges relevant to the Thales business. These will typically involve designing and optimising digital products and services.
All successful graduates are awarded a BSc (Hons) Digital User Experience (UX) degree from Manchester Metropolitan University, as well as a Level 6 degree apprenticeship.
