At Peacehaven Community School we are seeking a dynamic, proactive, highly organised part-time Technician for our Music department.
We’re looking for someone who has a working knowledge of sequencing software Logic and the technical competency to manage and problem solve multi-track recording desks, mixing desks and studios.
As a Music Technician, you will:
- assist and support teaching staff during classes and instruct and/or supervise individual students or groups of students with or without a member of teaching staff present; maintain classrooms/equipment, studios and workshops and support students to access and use specialist equipment and materials safely and appropriately; understand relevant Health & Safety regulations.
We follow a two week timetable and the preferred working days for this position are:
Week 1 - Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
Week 2 - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday
The required working days may vary from year to year depending on the needs of the school and can be discussed at interview.
