Our client are seeking a Sales Operations Adminstrator, based Hastings, responsible for managing and developing sales activities within the UK dealer network. This position serves as the primary contact for dealers, ensuring sales queries are addressed promptly and sales targets are achieved. The role involves close collaboration with various departments, including field sales, workshop, supply chain, and finance. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills, and a proven track record in B2B sales, dispatch and distribution.

About the Role

  • Act as the first point of contact for dealers across the UK, addressing sales queries in a timely manner.
  • Receive and process sales orders, ensuring stock availability and fulfilment.
  • Collaborate with the Supply Chain team to allocate stock appropriately, adhering to dealer prioritization criteria such as prompt payment.
  • Notify dealers of stock allocations, ensuring clarity on delivery schedules.
  • Coordinate the receipt and consolidation of Territorial Account Management team activity reports and sales orders.
  • Collaborate with the Territorial Account Management team to support dealers with customer care calls, sales activities, and campaigns.
  • Provide ongoing feedback from the dealer network, particularly on campaigns and promotions, to the Sales Director and the Marketing Director.

About You

  • Minimum of 5 years in a sales administration role
  • Experience of working with an Enterprise Resource Planning system such as Sage, Navision etc. Experience with SalesForce and B2B ordering platforms also desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with retailers and build lasting relationships.
  • High organisational skills.
  • Self–motivated and driven with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
