Masterclass Education is working in partnership with a highly regarded independent school to appoint a UK & International Admissions Officer on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised and personable individual to play a key role in supporting student recruitment across both the UK and international markets.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Admissions, you will be responsible for managing the admissions journey from enquiry through to enrolment, ensuring a professional and welcoming experience for prospective families.

Key responsibilities include:

• Acting as the first point of contact for prospective parents, students, agents, and feeder schools
• Managing UK and international admissions enquiries and applications
• Supporting the planning and delivery of Open Days, events, and recruitment activities
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with agents and external partners
• Maintaining accurate admissions data and records
• Supporting overseas recruitment activity where required

The Ideal Candidate

• Experience in admissions, education administration, customer service, or a similar role
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Confident, professional, and approachable
• Able to manage competing priorities in a busy environment
• An interest in education and international recruitment is highly desirable

Contract Details

• Fixed-term maternity cover (approximately up to 12 months)
• Full-time, Monday to Friday
• Competitive salary dependent on experience
• Based at a well-established independent school in Sussex
