Overview
My client are seeking a skilled Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Daikin and Mitsubishi systems and be adept at installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning units. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and leadership skills to ensure optimal performance of HVAC systems in various settings.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems in residential and commercial properties.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure efficient operation.
• Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings to troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Perform equipment repairs promptly to minimize downtime for clients.
• Collaborate with construction teams to integrate air conditioning systems into new builds or renovations.
• Provide leadership and guidance to junior engineers and apprentices during installations and repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory management.

Skills

• Working in a domestic environment safely and tidy.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues related to air conditioning systems.
• Proficiency in reading schematics and technical documentation related to HVAC systems.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to mentor team members effectively.
• Experience in equipment repair, particularly within the air conditioning sector.
• Familiarity with maintenance practices for HVAC systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £35,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
