Responsibilities

As an Air Quality Consultant, you will:

  • Conduct air dispersion modeling with a focus on road traffic developments.
  • Analyze and interpret data to assess air quality impacts and provide actionable insights.
  • Prepare high-quality technical reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative and sustainable solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices, ensuring compliance with IAQM guidelines.
  • Support the development of strategies to improve air quality and reduce environmental impact.


Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you will need:

  • 1-2 years of experience in air quality consultancy or a related field.
  • Proven hands-on experience with air dispersion modeling, particularly road traffic models.
  • Membership with the Institute of Air Quality Management (IAQM).
  • A strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A passion for environmental sustainability and a commitment to driving positive change.


Day-to-Day

Your typical day might include:

  • Running air dispersion models to assess the impact of road traffic on air quality.
  • Collaborating with colleagues and clients to develop tailored solutions for specific projects.
  • Attending CPD training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Preparing detailed reports and presenting findings to stakeholders.
  • Contributing to the development of innovative strategies to improve air quality.
