Pineapple Careers is thrilled to be working in exclusive partnership with a highly respected and forward-thinking organisation based in the beautiful West Sussex countryside. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an Account Executive - Airlines & MRO on a full-time, permanent basis.

This opportunity is ideally suited to someone with previous aviation aftermarket, airline, MRO or aerospace experience who is looking to broaden their skills and build a long-term career within a thriving industry.

The aviation industry is fast-paced, dynamic and constantly evolving. Supply chain challenges, component shortages and operational pressures mean that no two days are ever the same. In this role, you will play a key role in supporting airline and MRO customers, managing component requirements from quotation through to delivery, coordinating with suppliers and logistics partners and helping to deliver exceptional customer service throughout the entire order life cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer enquiries via telephone and email
  • Prepare quotations and manage customer orders from enquiry through to completion
  • Source aircraft components and identify suitable solutions for customer requirements
  • Manage multiple customer projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are achieved
  • Liaise with suppliers, logistics partners and internal departments to ensure successful order delivery
  • Proactively resolve challenges relating to component availability, lead times and logistics
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with customers and suppliers
  • Provide regular updates and progress reports to customers throughout the order process
  • Support the achievement of departmental sales objectives and KPIs
  • Maintain accurate records within CRM and sales management systems
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues across sales, operations and finance functions

Key Skills:

  • Previous experience within the aviation aftermarket, MRO, aircraft components, aerospace or a similar industry
  • Good IT skills, including Outlook, Excel and Quantum, Avsight or similar
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
  • Confident communicator with strong relationship-building abilities
  • Customer-focused and commercially aware
  • Proactive and eager to learn with a can-do attitude
  • A confident and professional approach when dealing with customers and suppliers
  • Strong admin skills with a high level of accuracy
  • A natural multitasker who thrives under pressure
  • Able to take ownership and deliver results

Salary & Benefits:

  • £30,000 - £38,000 (depending on experience)
