Billing Service Supervisor

Join a leading-edge company , who are seeking a Billing Service Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our billing department, ensuring all processes are executed accurately and efficiently in line with established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Day-to-day of the role:
- Daily Supervision: Manage and organise the daily workflow of the department, ensuring that deadlines are consistently met.
- Team Development: Provide ongoing support to the department, identifying skill gaps and training needs.
- Workload Management: Monitor workload, allocate tasks, and support operations with billing tasks and reporting during peak periods.
- Cycle Management: Oversee monthly billing cycles and recharge reporting, ensuring data integrity.
- Billing Strategy Support: Develop and implement complex billing strategies.
- Error Reduction: Audit outputs to identify and correct recurring data errors.
- Query Support: Act as the escalation point for complex billing disputes.
- Root-Cause Investigation: Analyse billing anomalies and collaborate on long-term fixes.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with commercial operations and development teams to ensure efficient operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in a billing operation, with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity.
- Advanced Numerical Skills: Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced user of Microsoft Excel and familiar with enterprise billing software.
- People Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-Solving: Highly organized with the ability to diagnose and solve billing errors.
