Carpentry Lecturer

We are seeking a Carpentry Lecturer to join our team on a part-time basis, delivering apprenticeship training in Site Carpentry. This role is crucial for providing high-quality education and support to our apprentices, ensuring they gain the skills needed for success in the carpentry industry.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Deliver educational content on Site Carpentry to apprentices.
- Prepare lesson plans and ensure all materials and tools are available for each class.
- Engage with apprentices through practical and theoretical instruction.
- Assess and evaluate apprentices' progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain records of apprentices' attendance, progress, and assessments.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all practical sessions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Must hold at least a Level 3 Qualification in Carpentry (standard L3 certification or NVQ).
- Proven experience in carpentry, with a strong practical and theoretical knowledge base.
- Excellent teaching and communication skills.
- Ability to engage and inspire apprentices.
- Commitment to professional development and staying updated with industry standards.
