Full Job Description

For 50 years, Transvalair remains one of the UK’s premier independent freight forwarding and logistics specialists with sites throughout the UK. We are looking to recruit a Class 2 HGV driver at our depot in Manor Royal, Crawley.

You will be driving a brand-new vehicle equipped with sat-nav and air-con. Your entire route will be organised for you and the vehicle will be pre-loaded, so all you do in the morning is collect the keys. You can expect an average of 20 pallet drops/collections per day.

Depending on the pallet load, you will predominantly be driving 18T vehicles, but you should also be comfortable driving 7.5T vehicles for smaller loads.

We are looking for drivers who can deliver an excellent standard of customer service and are comfortable with pallet drops. You must have at least 1 year’s Class 2 driving experience within the UK, a valid Drivers CPC card, and have held your HGV licence for a minimum of 2 years. If successful, the company will carry out a DBS disclosure.

You will be working Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 17:30, with the opportunity for overtime. Full Health & Safety training and a high-quality branded uniform will be provided.
