We're working with a well-established and fast-growing business operating within the landscaping and external construction sector. They design and supply high-performance, sustainable systems used in commercial landscaping, public realm, and large-scale outdoor projects.

With an established Business Development team already in place, they are now looking for a driven and proactive Sales-person to focus on lead generation, early-stage relationship building, and pipeline development.

What makes this role different?

This is not a traditional sales role focused purely on closing deals. Instead, you'll play a critical role at the front end of the sales process-generating opportunities, building relationships, and feeding a strong pipeline into the wider Business Development team.

The role combines office-based activity with regular outbound calling, as well as structured, quarterly site visits to landscaping teams and contractors.

You'll be the first point of contact for many clients, setting the foundation for long-term commercial relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify and generate new business opportunities within landscaping and contractor networks
  • Conduct regular outbound calls to introduce the company's products and services
  • Build and manage a consistent pipeline of qualified leads
  • Develop strong relationships with landscaping teams, contractors, and key decision-makers
  • Schedule and carry out quarterly site visits to maintain engagement and strengthen relationships
  • Work closely with the Business Development team to support the conversion of opportunities
  • Ensure smooth handover of qualified leads into the wider sales process
  • Maintain accurate CRM records (Zoho or similar) and track activity and performance
  • Manage your time effectively to ensure consistent outreach and follow-up

About You:

We're looking for someone who is proactive, organised, and confident building relationships-particularly over the phone and in person.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in Internal Sales, Telesales, Lead Generation, or Client Relations
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Confidence speaking with contractors and industry professionals
  • A consistent and resilient approach to outbound activity
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • CRM experience (Zoho or similar preferred)
  • Full UK driving licence (required for quarterly site visits)
