Do you have experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities or complex care needs? Looking for a rewarding role within education?

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Complex Needs Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEN school in Burgess Hill, supporting children with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD).

This Complex Needs Teaching Assistant opportunity in Burgess Hill could be ideal for someone with a background in care, healthcare, disability support or special educational needs who would love to make a difference in a school environment.

The Role - Complex Needs Teaching Assistant:

• Supporting children with complex learning and physical disabilities.
• Providing individualised support with learning, communication and daily activities.
• Assisting pupils with personal care and mobility needs where required.
• Supporting sensory activities and specialist learning programmes.
• Working alongside teachers, therapists and other SEN professionals.

Who We're Looking For:

• Experience in care, healthcare, SEN or disability support is highly desirable.
• An understanding of PMLD, SLD, MLD or complex needs would be beneficial.
• Someone compassionate, reliable and comfortable providing personal care.
• A genuine passion for helping children develop their independence and confidence.
• Able to travel to Burgess Hill.
