Contract: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role
Our client, a respected and friendly law firm based in Bognor Regis, is seeking an organised and enthusiastic Conveyancing Assistant to join their busy Residential Property team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin or progress their career in conveyancing, gaining hands-on experience within a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
Assisting fee earners with the progression of conveyancing files from instruction to completion
Managing initial client enquiries and providing updates throughout the transaction
Drafting and preparing legal documents, forms, and correspondence
Conducting searches and liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents, and lenders
Maintaining accurate file records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
Preparing completion statements and supporting with post-completion tasks
Providing general administrative assistance to the property team

About You
Previous experience in residential conveyancing or a legal support role is desirable but not essential
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
Confident communication skills and a professional, client-focused approach
Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Legal qualifications (LPC/SQE/LLB) are beneficial but not required
