Creative Content Lead
Creative Content Lead
35,000 - 40,000, Haywards Heath, Monday to Friday, full-time, permanent, 20 days holiday rising with service, HealthShield cash plan, wellbeing benefits, staff discount, company events
The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Content & Creative Lead to join an established premium consumer brand in Haywards Heath. Working as part of the wider marketing and creative function and reporting to the Head of Retail, this is a hands-on position for someone who loves turning creative ideas into beautiful, commercially effective content. You will take ownership of day-to-day creative output across digital, paid media and print, while helping ensure every customer touchpoint reflects the quality and aspirational feel of the brand.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Create high-quality digital and static content for paid advertising campaigns across platforms including Meta and Google Performance Max
- Develop creative concepts and turn ideas into engaging, on-brand campaign assets
- Review paid media performance to understand which creative concepts are working and use these insights to continually improve future content
- Produce and manage digital and print assets including magazine advertising, point-of-sale materials and other above-the-line campaigns
- Support the planning and production of direct mail campaigns, considering audience, product focus, messaging and storytelling
- Coordinate photoshoots and content capture, ensuring post-shoot assets are edited and ready for use across relevant channels
- Edit video content and support the development of engaging video creative, where experience allows
- Use AI tools appropriately to increase creative output, develop variations and support planning and analysis
- Act as a guardian of the brand's visual identity, maintaining brand guidelines and ensuring content feels consistent across every customer touchpoint
- Work with external agencies, media partners and suppliers to ensure creative is delivered effectively and to deadline
- Support and develop a Junior Graphic Designer, helping to prioritise workload and maximise the creative resource available within the team
- Research emerging creative opportunities and channels, helping the brand explore areas such as TikTok, AI advertising and future media opportunities
Requirements
Previous experience within a hands-on creative, graphic design or content role is necessary, ideally with around three years or more experience in a commercially focused environment. Strong graphic design skills and proficiency with Adobe InDesign are highly desirable, alongside the ability to confidently create professional assets beyond template-led platforms such as Canva. Experience creating static content for paid advertising and an understanding of how creative can influence campaign performance would also be highly desirable.
You will be an ideas-driven and proactive creative who enjoys implementing your work rather than solely developing strategy. Experience within a premium, luxury, aspirational or high-consideration consumer environment would be desirable, although applications from other sectors with an appropriate creative style are welcomed. Video editing, shoot production, AI creative tools and previous mentoring or management experience would be advantageous but are not essential.
This role could suit someone who has worked as a Senior Graphic Designer, Senior Creative Designer or Creative Content Manager.
